En Gulf

This exhibition was made possible through the collaboration between the University of Houston School of Art, Graphic Design Program, Creative Writing Program, and Interdisciplinary Art Program.  The collaborative creation of a wall installation and exhibition, letter pressed poetry book, and poetry video serves to bring awareness to the importance of preserving the Texas gulf coastlands. 

The jars serve as small worlds and a look into the process that rainfall water undergoes when being filtered through the marshes. Each jar is an important step, with frosted vinyl words to show the step of the filtration process.
